Earthv2 is an online collective project dedicated to Human Community working in collaboration, with inspiration, and dedication to re-envisioning the planet.
The first time around, humanity created blindly a lot of mistakes by following our impulses of greed, exploitation, and domination without fully preparing for (or even envisioning) the consequences.

Now is our second chance! This time we can consciously re-create all human inventions as we see fit, with due consideration of the impacts on environment, life quality for others, and forethought about the ultimate outcome of our projects.

Earthv2.org is imperfect. REALLY imperfect! But I thought, why not start it up and see what happens? 

So, starting today (5/31 @ 3am) you can make an account and start posting.  Have at it!

I suggest posting to FORUMS rather than the other locations, for now. That's the only part that I think works. Again, any help from Drupal people would be much appreciated!

Wow, I hadn't posted on Earthv2.org for almost an entire year.  And development did come to a halt.  But what a year it's been!!!

Update June 2010:

Still in BETA testing. Many users are BETA testing, but Earthv2.org is still lacking in posts. Probably will change the account creation mode soon, but still working on effective SPAM blocking techniques which don't always require Captcha test.

Getting graphics (complete) & entry formatting modes (in progress) to work properly, plus hosting migration (complete), configuring different pages (in progress), plus software updates (complete) ... slows the finalizing process down.

I apologize, but Earthv2.org is currently ONLY open for BETA testing to a select few users (~ the first 50 users that apply).

Please send me an email if you wish to be included in our current BETA testing with the subject line "BETA TEST request for Earthv2.org".

Can you tell me a bit about what interests you in contributing to the site?
Do you seek to contribute new and amazing ideas?

Inspiration to save our planet is what powers Earthv2.org

Humans have done a number on the Earth by using technology without adequate forethought, without thinking consequences through, and without completing the loop and encorporating disposal & re-uptake components into the design.

Which is a main reason why Earthv2 exists -- an online foundation of human community devoted to complete re-vision, re-creation, and re-thinking of everything humanity has made, is making, and will make -- and subjecting it to the collaborative impact of collective human awareness.
